FACE WRINKLES and NAIL CARE

Make sure that your Furry french bull dog’s wrinkles clean and dry by wiping the folds on their faces with a baby wipe or a wet cloth, once they are dry, sprinkle some baby powder or Gold Bond so that it stays beauiful (you can buy Malecetic wipes from the vet because they kill any yeast causing moisture and they also clean wrinkle pockets all at once and can also be used to clean the paws and armpits).  Furry french bulldogs do not need too much grooming and exercise because they are very easy to adjust to a lot of things. They may be noisy, but they are very fond of prople especially their owners but they may have some individual differences on how they behave around other animals. Furry french bulldogs should never be allowed to run outdoors but indoors is best and  also when they are on a leash. You can occassionally brush their teeth to keep their coat shiny and you should regularly trim their nails, this is a must keep an eye on their pinky toe on every paw. The pinky toe usually curls and get worn out when they are running because they usually put all their weight when running or resting on the toes.

HOUSEBREAKING AND TRAINING....
It is always a good idea to take your frenchie outside for bathroom breaks upon waking every two hours, also there has to be a space in your yard reserved for him/her and you must Visit it often. You must always be alert for any signs that your frenchie gives i.e sniffing and circling that indicate that he has to go potting. You have to reserve a spot at your backyard where your frenchie may call it his/her own, you might want to buy a crate and be prepared to spend about 4 to 6 months of crate training.

The crate will be your furry french bulldog’s habitat, where it will be safe whenever you’re not around. Furry french bulldogs can be quite manipulative or stubborn because they are not Golden retrievers so when you talk to them , you have to show them through absolute consistency that you really mean what you said. Food is the best motivator for  brindle french bulldog but if you give them too much you have to provide appropriate training so that they don’t end up being fat or unhealthy. You can buy a doggie bed for your frenchie is you don’t want to buy a cat as long as you can train your dog very well. Avoid shouting, scolding or shouting at your brindle french bulldog even when you catch them breaking the rules you just have to say “No”and take them out immediately. They will get frightened and confused, accidents are common so you don’t have to overeact. You have to praise your frenchie whenever they do a good thing without being instructed i.e going out on their own, speak to them gently and give them some treats. When your frenchie is about 4 months old and has completed his immunizations, you can take them for training classes. This will help him/her to adjust to being around other people and other animals this will help in teaching your furry french bulldog how to communicate and the other basics like walking , sitting and the coming command. Brindle french bulldogs can be cute but they need adequate training so that they become civilized companions.

FEEDING
From 3 to 6 monyhs, feed your frenchie with high qaulity puppy food then you can shift to twice a day when they are 6 to 12 months. When they reach 12 months you can start feeding them with bulldog adult food twice a day. Don’t feed your brindle french bulldog with soy, some bulldogs are allergic to soy products as well as corn and wheat. Soy mixed with water causes gastric tortions and this may be fatal to the furry french bulldog. Remember to check the food bags and make sure that protein is always the first ingridient not corn, not wheat. You can check some suggestions that we have on some high quality and great food that you can give your frenchie. If you have two or more dogs, you will be able to understand that dogs have different needs so you will have to adjust and know that a kibble isnt one food for all. Make sure you adjust their meals and remember to stick to your schedule. Do follow the instructions on the food bag and adjust it to your daily schedule, you can as well give them raw food.

THE BEST TOYS FOR FRENCH BULLDOGS

From 3 to 6 months of age, when they are in their teething stage, they like chewing to relieve the discomfort caused by teething. Generally, they love chewing whenever they are exploring the world. Make sure to give them variety of textures of chews, reserve extras in case they chew anything that they have picked up. Rope toys, frozen bones that have been soaked inside water provide a cooling effect which is good in their teething stage.
Your new puppy will require an initial series of four vaccinations. Yearly boosters are required after the initial series. Follow your veterinarian's recommendations. You have to take your frenchie for vacinations at initial series as well as yearly boosters. Remember to follow what the veterian recomends.
